It has been so dry around here that the girls were quite excited when they heard that rain was in the forecast for today. While waiting for puddles to appear, we had fun making some rain art!

What a great idea! We left a watercolor tablet outside in the rain once by accident. Everything was gone (disappeared) when I remembered it was out there. This will be nice to try on purpose!

This would be great to do with watercolor pencils or crayons too!

We tried this yesterday - my 3 year old daughter and 19 month old son made one each, and so did I. They turned out brilliantly and the kids were so excited about doing them. Thanks for the great idea! We're going to make frames for them this afternoon, and then they'll take pride of place on our bathroom wall!
