I found a plain wood door hanger in my craft supplies and decided to make the girls a little reminder list of their getting ready jobs for morning and night. I am really happy with how it turned out, and the girls love it. They take after their mommy -- list and schedule-lovers!
To make it, I traced the shape onto 2 pieces of scrapbook paper, cut them out, and used Mod Podge to glue them on. I printed out the lists, attached them with Mod Podge, and then sealed the whole thing with one more coat of Mod Podge. Go easy on the final coat so your printer ink doesn't smear. Super simple and super helpful!
What a great idea! My daughter is starting kindergarten in a few weeks and our mornings are going to be rushed...I think I will make one of these for our morning routine. She can turn it around when she has finished the list of things to do! Thanks!

I just found your site and can't wait to have more of a look around. This is an awesome idea! I was just going to make a little sign for their bedroom doors, but this idea is perfect. Thank you!

Over here from simple mom and I LOVED this idea! We actually printed out your directions and made them as a craft with our moms group. My 3 1/2 year old really gets into being in control of his own routines and I enjoy having him excited and moving quickly! Thanks for sharing, I'm hooked on your blog now too!

I found this entry weeks ago and thought it was a great idea. Unfortunately, I never bookmarked the page and it's taken me over a week to come across it again. I have a two year old and a three year old that this would be perfect for but I can't seem to find the clip art that you used. Are you willing to share your printed reminder strips, or where to find them?? Thanks so much for the great ideas, and I've now got your site bookmarked for future goodness!
